about

UNA MAQUINA IMPOSIBLE is a Audiovisual performance project by the Argentine musicians
Andrés Belfanti and Renata Bonamicci where they develop free improvisation from preoccupied
digital and acoustic instruments, fragments belonging to the personal “archive” of each artist.
The context and the materials present in each performance make up an unrepeatable "machine"
allowing to incorporate instruments, sounds and other performers in a particular situation where
there is preeminence of the gesture over the technique or the instruments.

Andrés Belfanti born in the city of Villa María, Córdoba - Argetina is a teacher,
Electronic artist and Bachelor of Musical Composition with Orientation in Popular Music.
Dedicated to performance with digital media and the assembly of objects.
His works are thought of as machines: a confluence of pieces that work within a fictional system,
in which the use of microprocessors and scrap metal converge. Destruction, failure, and failure
of technologies constitute topics from which he builds his works, generating systems
producing unexpected results and giving abandoned and obsolete objects the chance to
amaze again.
