Symi es el proyecto de Fernanda Flores, música electrónica experimental que mediante la síntesis sonora concreta
y electrónica busca plasmar ambientes emocionales.
Con sus cuatro discos editados CR 350,CR 450 ,CR 570 y T 36000/2 (los dos ultimos publicados por el sello argentino
Isla Vision) conforma un cuarteto que oscila entre el ruidismo atmosférico y ambiental y el hipnotismo bailable del trance.


Fernanda Flores de la ciudad de Buenos Aires es música,compositora, productora y
docente.Realizo estudios de guitarra clásica y viola en el Conservatorio de la Ciudad de Buenos
Aires y de guitarra jazz en forma paralela y particular.
Fue alumna del maestro argentino Sami Abadi, en su sistema de improvisación musical por señas a la vez
que fue parte de algunas de las formaciones de sus orquestas y ensambles.
Durante 2010, participo de la orquesta rizomática “A los Gauchos psicomisticosdel miasma” también dirigida por Abadi.
Desde el mismo año hasta el 2012, integrolas bandas “La Práctica de las Llamas”,“LaIndustria del Porno”,entre otras.

En la actualidad, dicta clases y talleres de composición y experimentación musical, produce a distintos artistas,compone
bandas sonoras para proyectos audiovisuales e integra la banda electropop psicodélico “Costas".
Desde 2017 hasta 2021, ha editado cinco discos con su proyecto Simy:” "CR”,“CR450”,“CR570”,“CR 350" y TR 36000/2.
Desde 2021,con el mismo proyecto,forma parte como experimentadora sonora,del programa Amplify D.A.I. la iniciativa del British Council orientada a potenciar el desarrollo profesionalde personas que se identifican como mujeres.
Con este programa, cursó su primera residencia artística colaborativa con la artista visual brasileña Keila Sankofa.
La obra resultante,"Presente das Presenças", fue presentada en marzo de 2022 en la Feria de Arte Contemporáneo
MAPA de Buenos Aires en su cuarta edición, en la Ocupación Amplify de Rio de Janeiro, Brasil , en el
Festival Mutek 2022 de Montreal y en Mutek Argentina del mismo año.

Symi is the project of Fernanda Flores, experimental electronic music, which through concrete and electronic sound
synthesis seeks to capture emotional environments.
With their four released albums CR 350, CR 450, CR 570 and T 36000/2, they form a quartet that oscillates between

Fernanda Flores from the city of Buenos Aires is a musician, composer, producer and
teacher she studied classical guitar and viola at the Conservatory of the City of Buenos Aires
