Peng Chia HUANG a.k.a. Ponga MIDORI es una artista Tawanesa nacida en Taichung y residente en Taipei.
Su trabajo explora la intersección de mitos flolcklóricos y su historia personal a través de diversos medios de comunicación. Sus obras recientes incluyen escultura, performance, trabajos de sonido y video,composiciones para opera y mas.
Entre los géneros musicales que abarca pueden encontrarse influencias de IDM, Ambient, field recording. pop, incorporaciones de instrumentos étnicos aplicados a elementos experimentales en el proceso.
En su interpretación en vivo de de manera audiovisual ( A/V ) a veces convierte su voz en otro instrumento, interactuando con la música y el público.

Peng Chia HUANG a.k.a. Ponga MIDORI is a Tawanese artist born in Taichung and based in Taipei.
Her work explores the intersection of folklore myths and her personal history through various media. Her recent works include sculpture, performance, sound and video works, compositions for opera and more.
Among the musical genres that she covers, influences from IDM, Ambient, field recording can be found. pop, incorporations of ethnic instruments applied to experimental elements in the process.
In her live performance of her audiovisual (A/V) manner she sometimes turns her voice into another instrument, interacting with the music and the public.

Currently, she is writing the score for a Taiwanese opera drama and also preparing material. for her first EP as MIDORI to be released on the Japanese label Hado-Lab.
