HIEMIS es un proyecto de dark ambient español del Valenciano Carlos Nuñez, cuyo primer álbum “Nachtstücke”, (Cuentos de Noche), se lanzó en febrero de 2018 a través del sello discográfico Gradual Hate Records.
El concepto de su álbum debut gira en torno al trabajo de E.T.A. Hoffmann, un escritor romántico alemán del siglo XIX quien fue uno de los pioneros de la literatura fantástica. Texturas inmersivas junto con drones hacen de HIEMIS un claro ejemplo de maestría del ambiente oscuro y su manejo con un poder terrible.
Apasionado por las culturas ancestrales , el misticismo y el esoterismo como vías de entendimiento, HIEMIS vuelve a retomar en 2019 su camino iniciático a la hora de explorar nuevas tierras. Así, a través del sello discográfico norteamericano Noctivagant Records publica en marzo “Hyperborea”, un reecuentro con seres mitológicos y lugares sagrados pertenecientes a eras pasadas.
Actualmente está preparando lo que será su ultimo trabajo “Thule” a través del sello discogáfico Gradual Hate Records.

HIEMIS is a project of dark Spanish atmosphere of the Valencian Carlos Núñez, whose first album "Nachtstücke" (tales of Nigths), was launched in February of 2018 through the record label Gradual Hate Records.
The concept of his debut album revolves around the work of E.T.A. Hoffmann, a nineteenth-century German romantic writer who was one of the pioneers of fantasy literature. The immersive textures along with the drones make HIEMIS a clear example of mastery of the dark environment and its management with terrible power.
Passionate about ancestral cultures, mysticism and esotericism as ways of understanding, HIEMIS returns to its initiatory path in 2019 when it explores new lands. Thus, through the North American record label Noctivagant Records published in March "Hyperborea", a reencounter with mythological beings and sacred places belonging to past eras.
He is currently preparing what will be his last album "Thule" through the record label Gradual Hate Records.
